|
|
The 1.9.5 patch and full installer are now available, for a full list of Features and Fixes check out the Release Notes.
Note this patch still consists of 3 parts, but we have done away with the self-extracting zip due to problems with read-only files.
PATCHING INSTRUCTIONS:
*** Don't start the application until you got as far as step 3, otherwise it will crash. ***
1. Download and run the MAIN PATCH.
2. Download and extract the FILE PATCH, unzip the files into your installation folder. You will get a couple of dialog boxes asking if you wish to overwrite the existing files, choose yes to these. *** Make sure you run this patch as Administrator if you are using Vista ***
3. Start the application
4. Download and extract the xml file from the DATA PATCH.
5. Use File->Load Components on the xml file*
*** The Patch will remove any "Run as administrator" option you had previously set on the RPGXplorer.exe - If you are having problems starting the application then reset this option ***
The 1.9.5 data patch contains the following updates, if you want these updates be sure to select and check the components whilst loading the dataset.
The prepared spell casting classes all now have a new "Memorize Spells" option. If you wish to keep any custom modifications you have to them, and then simply choose not to overwrite when importing the 1.9.5 Data Patch - you will however have to manually edit and update each of the classes after you finish the upgrade.
The Data Patch also contains additional monster feats that were missing from the previous release as well as some example monsters for you to play with.
The patch will also reset your options, so if you have set a HTML editor or changed the default coin weight you will have revert these to your previous values. |
